What engine would fit in my Mk4?

Featured Replies

I have just bought a v reg mk4 fiesta which requires a new engine. I was going to fit the same 1.3 endura engine out of my sisters old car, but thought if am going to all that trouble y not get something with a little more oomph? Something like a zetec s?

Has ne1 fitted different engines or no which 1ns would fit without much difficulty. I've read that 1.7 puma engines fit in nicely. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks Gaz

A 1.8 mondeo engine will go straight in mate.

K. Thanks.

Have you done one or heard of any one that has?

I can get a 1.6 zetec-s engine quite cheap. That should go in with out any problems?

Cant see why a ZS engine shouldnt go in.
