Mk4 Mondeo Enable Auto Wipers

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just recently purchased a Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 140 AUT from 2012.

Its being sold as a collection model - I think its based on a Trend model.

Unfortunatly I now realize that the auto wiper function is not included as on my previous collection model from 2010.

The sensor is already there - I can see the sensor inside the window housing.

BUT the dealer can´t do anything to enable it for me. Its apparently part of a factory package and requires both cabling and computer work...?

Anybody who knows if I can do something to enable this sensor? I really miss it :(

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Wouldn't you also have to change the wiper stallk?

Not sure its worth it. Ive got auto wipers and use them as if they are normal intermittent wipers.
