Jason 'Tweek' Batty
I thought I would start a thread and show you all the changes I am doing to my 1.8 zetec mondeo. First thing I did was put a touch screen DVD head unit in the car complete with PS2 in the back for my son. Here is a few pic's of the transformation. Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Next thing was a K&N airfilter. After that I decided to have a theme. Along came the new badges. Plus after seeing some other ford owners with LED interior lights I decided to get some. They look better in person.
FOCA
Nice, can you change your settings on your new head unit to red too?
Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Nice, can you change your settings on your new head unit to red too? Thanks. Yes, but I have it on multi and it scans through all the colours.
Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Started to put on a flyseye kit yesterday but it started raining. Gonna finish it at the weekend. Took it to Topgear tuning in Stockport for a custom longlife stainless steal exhaust. Well pleased with the results.

Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Been a while because of the weather but had the chrome bits off the car and painted them ford radiant red. I like the indicators and the rear badge. Not sure on the front end so I might add a bit more red somewhere....any thoughts? Also waiting for a new set of gel badges as I knackered the last ones up removing them...silly me.
FOCA
In my opinion i don't think the red suits the grill and it looks better in Chrome (stock) or black or carbon wrap would suit it The calipers and the side indicators look good

bladeage
Yep the red and black thing is a bit eighties for me,chrome looks good as standard. Head unit etc was a nice upgrade!
Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Yeah, I been in two minds about the red front. But I am thinking of adding a bit more to try and make it look better.

Bill Badger
Your car, your choice. However, I would suggest that you keep the standard parts so that you can put them back on if you should ever sell it. As it is with all the red touches, it may seriously affect the resale value. No offence meant :)
Jason 'Tweek' Batty
No offence taken. The red front is coming off and I am getting them carbon wrapped. I think it will look much better.
Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Changed the red, I admit it looked naff so I went for carbon fiber vynal to cover it. I also out on my newly painted Mondeo badge.
Jason 'Tweek' Batty
Oh I almost forgot to add pic's of the tinting I had done a few weeks ago. Opted for just the rear being done, which I thought was the est option. Really please with it.
stevegtuk
Interesting choice of colours, i agree the grill surround didnt look right being red but the rest looked nice, can you get a distance shot of the front with the carbon on. are you going to paint the upper and lower grills too to match the rest of the car
