Featured Replies

Hey

I posted about LED sidelights but gone away from that now.

But i want to put some whiter lights in. Still legal but just whiter to get away from the orange glow.

Ive looked everywhere on google and cant find what im looking for :( anybody help me?

Anybody?

If you want brighter sidelights then Philips do some - can't remeber but think they may be Vision plus or something there are Xenon bulbs, standard 501 fitting and whiter than normal and perfectly legal. Also think osram do them , but from what I gather Philips are slightly better.

A lot of mail order companies throw them in for free if you buy upgraded headlight bulbs from them.

If you do a google search for Philips bulbs you should then get the part/model number you are looking for and can go from there.

Ben

earlier you mentioned the lights in the footwells being 501, are you sure on that?

If you can confirm because I'd really like to change the colour of my footwell lights.

Thanks

Isn't it covered in your owners handbook thingy?

My last car said 'return to dealer' to change headlight / sidelight bulbs, greeeeeeeat (so glad it was leased).

Cheers for the 501 thing, I'll go look for green ones on ebay :) (for under my dash)

Ok ive sorted it. Looked in the manual (page 48) and explains it all :D So thanks RIIIDAA!

You have to take the whole headlight out and then there is covers to everything you would ever want :) Spoke to Ford to check about warranty and its all good, just wont cover the bulbs you replace them with :)
