Featured Replies

Hi,

I am no machanic so please excuse my stupidity....

I want to replace the lambda sensor on my 2001 1.25 Fiesta.... but where is it lol? And is it easy to do? How much? and shud i buy it from ford or a car spares place?

I suspect i know Where it is---> it looks like a spark plug and think it is to the back of the engine on top of the exhaust manifold area?

Thanks

Should be on the exhaust downpipe somewhere near the top.

Thanks gadget... is it as easy as unplug, unscrew, replace ?

It should just unscrew just like a spark plug. Could be pretty solid in there tho so give it plenty of wd40. If it feels like its gonna snap don't bother with it. Take it to a garage. If it gets stuck in there is gonna be a nightmare to get out
