Battery Problems On Mondeo 1.6 Petrol Titanium.

Featured Replies

Purchased the car last September and had no issues with it until one day I went to get in the car and the battery was flat. It has since been back to the dealership six times with the same problem. Every time, they cannot find a fault with it and their diagnostic machince cannot find a fault either.

One school of thought is that it happens because I am a low mileage user. The dealership have contacted Ford technical and been told that this is not a common fault.

I have lost all confidence in the car, as I went on holiday and came back to find the battery was flat again.

Every time the dealer charge the battery, it starts.

I've had over 20 Fords in a row and never had a problem like this before.

Can anyone shed any light on the subject?
