Hi Guys, I have a 2005 1.8L Petrol Zetec Ford Mondeo Hatchback. I was checking the oil earlier, what I noticed was that the dipstick was different to what I had on a 2002 Ford Mondeo 2.0L Executive. The the 2002 model the dipstick was thin and flat, then in the 2005 model, the dipstick is like a braided shaft.

My query is, can anyone tell me the length of the dipstick of the 2005 1.8L dipstick or are they all of the same length. I ask this because, I have this new mondeo for a bout a week today. I just want to make sure that the correct dipstick is in the car and it is of the right length, as when I use the current one, it is not showing me the oil level, it is as if it is too short. I am hoping that I just need to top up the oil again.

I hope someone can help me here.
