Hi my remote fob is getting harder to lock and unlock my mondeo mk3. Sorry you've probably have had this question a few times before . Any ideas? Regards tony

    If u have spare key try that if it works perfect it's safe to say u need a remote they do tend to only last few years an especially if u don't take extra care which let's be honest who concentrates on never dropping ur keys ha

    Maybe its just given up :unsure:

    Mine did stop unlocking, i took it aoart and the unlock microswitch had come away from the circuit board, i put it all back together and its worked since.

    Might be worth taking apart and looking for anything obvious...

    could be micro switch burningout in remote you can buy theses on ebay for a quid and if ur a compitant at soldering the new part on then your laughing
