Now you're going to have to be bordering on old codger staus to remember these.

"Double Diamond works wonders, works wonders"

and

"Watch out, watch out, there's a Humphrey about"

Anyone remember what the last one was about.?

I remember all those. :( Must be an old codger (when did that happen?)

What was the Humphrey ad about? Have to go google.

OMG - memories! :) Humphrey

Even though I vaguely remember the slogan I still don't associate it with Unigate.......... :)

I like the Mikado advert with the girl on the photocopier trying to get the chocolate sticks and then getting caught ....

:D

She is hot!!

All the Marshans rolling around with laughter - awww they were dead good!

Which advert was it where you had to "follow the bear"? I think it was some beer ad?

Was that not the Hofmeister advert??

We never got that advert in Scotland but I used to see it on my granny's telly in London when on holiday.

Jacobs Club biscuits - If you like a lotta chocolate on your biscuit join our club

and this one

Wasnt Unigate the only milk provider in those days? I dont know, cant remember. I was only little!

The Sid advert was good though I cant understand the relevance of Sid but I think they wanted a name cos the Humphrey advert was so so good. Ah good times :)

I'm actually liking the "retro" ads they seem to be showing now. Definitely aimed at the 40 something person. The new Green Giant ad, the Green cross code man is in another ad and the Du Pain, Du Vin Du Boursin, Le Tracteur! Appeals to my warped sense of humour.

I have a freeview recorder, so I just skip the adverts when watching all my telly!

I hate those SOFA adverts though, they drive me mad. As for adverts I like I like those Harbio ones and I love those old super noodle ones :)

The bear was called "GEORGE"

Kristal, I'm impressed--you've passed your first advert test---indeed he was called George.

Try this for size--not long ago but certainly a classic advert made by Renault:

And then there was this one made famous by Walls:

Sausages

As you can see I'm so busy watching adverts that I rarely get out....................................

John West advert is the best!

I remember these

Pepsi

Wow great ad forgot about that one, but the guy in the pepsi ad is the same guy that plays "Barry" the hen pecked husband in last of the summer wine

Yes, it does look like him so I guess you must be right.

Love the Castlemaine XXXX advert, I'd forgotten that one!

Just thought of another two:

And, just for good measure how about this one:

That's my chocolate fix sorted for today!!!! ;) ;)

As I'm writing this another of my favourite ads is playing in the background....."compare the meerkat.com"!!
