Lenny1518
Hey all I've got a 2.2 tdci mondeo tx, the engine malfunction light came on. It's going to cost a stupid amount to get it diagnosed at a dealers, any one in the Birmingham area got a diagnostic machine that could help out. The engines running fine. Stoney871
When was the last time you had the fuel filter replaced? That is usually a common cause of a warning light.
jeebowhite
Certainly at this time of year! Does the car drive differently? if so you should start with a fuel filter replacement anyway, however, if it drives fine, then you could look at my signature post about "got an error on your car"? you should be able to get a code reader, read it yourself, and get it fixed. At less than £20 even for a handheld unit, you cant go wrong!
stevegtuk
As Jeebo says, get a cheap code reader (plenty on eBay for under £20).
