What Mark Is My Focus

Featured Replies

I have a 2007 reg focus 1.8 sport having just had the common bonnet problem now sorted thanks, I'm wondering what the mark is as the guy at the breakers yard having seen my key (flat) when I asked about an old barrel lock said Mk3 but from pictures on this site I would have thought Mk2 !

Dont want to buy anything from E-bay for the wrong car Cheers.

Mk 2.5? A revamped Mk 2.

Easiest way-

If it has a chrome strip on the front lip of the bonnet then it's a MK2.5 (facelift).

No strip then it's a MK2.

Bear in mind though that the MK system is not official, Ford don't use it when identifying the Focus models.

Some people count all versions of the Focus as seperate hence the MK3 statement (they are obviously labelling the MK1 facelift as a MK2).

No, he was just ignorant of the accepted (unnoficial) MK terminology. ;)
