2010 Focus Zetec 1.8 Petrol - Anything To Look Out For?

Featured Replies

As above I'm going to look at one of these this afternoon. I specifically wanted a 1.8 rather than a 1.6 as I thought it might be a bit more torquey and relaxing to drive. Does anyone have any views on this and is there anything I should look out for?

its not the 1.6ti vct has the same power more torque and lower tax the 1.8 is still the old zetec e engine from 1999 its mpg isnt that good either http://www.autotrader.co.uk/articles/2010/08/cars/ford/focus/ford-focus-2004-2010-used-car-guide

as you see its not recommended and having had the old 1.8 compared to the 115bhp 1.6 the 1.6 is livelier quicker and overtakes easier
