What Diesel Car magazine have just updated their long term report on the 1.6Diesel Fiesta. They state that

32,747 sold until the end of March the next bewst sellewr sold only 22,988 making the fiesta by far Uk's fastest selling car. Corsa sold 22,399 peugot 207 at 10,795.

Achieved 54.6mpg.

They voted it Car of the Year

    Quite right too but I thought it was the petrol 1.25 zetec that had been voted car of the year.

    Or maybe it's both?

    What car? website named the 1.25 "car of the year" But What Diesel car? named the 1.6 TDCI the car of the year ;) (seeing as they don't test petrol's...)

    I can see the number of people complaining about late deliveries increasing due to the demand for these cars. Its because its so good, Ford can't cope with the demand.

    I suppose you pay your money adn take your choice.
