Sony Dab Radio Focus Titanium X Mk 111(2012) Illumination

Featured Replies

Hi

First time I have posted so please bear with me.

My wife and I are certain that the slot for CD's was illuminated at the sides when we purchased the car last year. The rest of the unit illuminates as normal. When it is dark it is virtually impossible to see where CD's need to go. The dealership had the car after ordering a new sensor for the dashboard to fix the problem, but then contacted me to say that they had been in touch with Ford who claim the CD opening should not be lit at the sides, and it was the same with other units that they had in the garage!

Please, if anyone has the same radio unit fitted could you let me know if the CD slot should illuminate.

Regards

David59

I will take a look at mine tomorrow , but i don't recall lights from the Cd slot , but i will check.

I don't recall this either but will check it out on mine later :)
