Hello all,

Need help to find a really strong high performing battery. Car has the smart charging thing so I know it needs to be silver calcium.

Reason for this is I've put so much litype gadgets in that the old battery just cannot cope.

Car has airconditioning, heated seat, xenon lights etc etc. Amps and full stereo upgrade as well. And alarm.

the size of the battery wont matter if the alternator cant cope with it which i doubt it will i believe ford use a more powerfull alternator in the fully loaded focus saying that the old battery should cope with the air con if it was standard as well as the lights they wont draw that much more power than standard an alarm is standard anyway so its set for that the heated seats shouldnt matter sounds like the stereo and amp are causing you issues

fit a power cap for the stereo... but ive left my 2 subs turned on over night before and came to the car 12 hrs later and started first time (this was 2 mono amps no power cap) sounds like ur batt is on its way out mayb

I was thinking that to. I remember the days I could be parked up waiting in the car for hours. Playing ps2, music everything and car would start fine. Only today I was cleaning car playing music battery just died. Wasn't expecting it. So the alternator should be fine. So battery any clues? There to many to choose from.

Bosch S6? or S7?

Would they fit ??

Sorry, I don't think they make an S7 - I meant to say S5 or S6. They should fit, yeah. They have them on display in Halford's, so go in and see if it would fit your car :)
