High Pitched Alarm Sound From Electric Power Steering Pump

Hi there,

New to the forum so hi to everyone. I have a 2007 fiesta 1.6 tdci zetec S which currently has what sounds like a high pitched alarm sound coming from the electric power steering pump. The pitch of this varies when I turn the steering wheel and then returns to previous level. Any ideas wouod be greatly appreciated. Cheers ......... Ken

    It's not electric on that model year, sounds like a bearing on the way out. Check the fluid level first.
