Thermometer/engine Coolant Light On Centre Console Display

Featured Replies

Hi,

I picked up my new 14 plate titanium ecoboost fiesta yesterday and on a couple of trips and after the engine is turned off a thermometer/ engine coolant thermometer symbol with 2 swirly lines comes on in the centre of the main blue console display alongside the radio information. No warning lights are on on the cluster display and it isn't there all the time.

Has anyone else had this on the new fiesta? Can anyone tell me what it means?

Thanks,

Have you checked your coolant levels? Could be you have picked up a leak already?

If you don't find the answer very soon, I would pop it into the dealer to take a look over if I were you.

Thanks, I'll pop it in tomorrow. Strange how the light for the coolant isn't lit up on the normal cluster display

Hmm, I don't know then - perhaps someone else knows why this is? Either way, if it were me, I would either phone or pop it into the dealer to be safe.
