This is more or less a case of removing the steering column plastics, and finding the positive wire that supplys the ignition (should be a thick red wire) buying a suitable switch, locating a suitable position to fit the switch and install. Cutting into the ignition live, and re-attach to each terminal of the switch. Probably best to install an in line fuse also just in case. You would still need to insert the key and turn to position 2 to put ignition lights on, but then the button would act as your starter. Did this on my first car,,,, my lil old mk1 fiesta :-)
