Mk3 St Can't Open Bonnet

Featured Replies

Help the cable has come off my 14 plate mk3 ST bonnet lock and now I can't open the bonnet. Any ideas?

Take it back to the dealer. Surely that's covered under warranty?

Does anyone know if the car was on a ramp if I could take the engine bay shield off and reach inside to release the bonnet?

I wouldn't mess about with it and take it straight back to the dealer without hesitation unless you have caused the damaged I would let them fix it at the end of the day it is a new car and that is what the warranty is for.

Don't touch it and take back to the dealer. It's a brand new car and warranty is one of these reasons you buy a new vehicle not used

Sorted. Known fault apparently. The catch breaks on the MK3s. Sorted in 2hrs
