Occasional Stuttering When Starting?

Featured Replies

Hi guys ive got a 09 1.6 zetec petrol 100ps just recently its struggled to start always starts but sometimes takes a while a few searches on here and google suggest coolant temperature sensor would that be likely also theres no codes stored?

And if so where is it ive been told between spark plug 2 and 3 thanks in advance

tbh, would start with the simple stuff if not done so already...such as spsrk plugs/filters etc.

as for the CTS, think its under the coil pack on this engine

Bought the sensor and all the stuff for a early service on saturday morning and its fixed itself hasnt happed all week!

EDIT: its back again only happens when the engines warm so ill try and change it when the rain stops is it directly beneath the coil pack looks difficult to get at?
