What Are These Wires

Hi all. Was changing the pollen filter yesterday and found these two wires

They are quite think like power wires, any ideas?

Based on the location and thickness of the wires I suspect these wires are for the PTC heater.

The PTC heater is an additional electric heating system which provides warm air for the interior while the engine is still cold. The PTC heater system is factory fitted in some cold climate countries on Diesel versions and as an accessoire on Petrol versions. Cars build for the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, and some other countries do not have the PTC heater system factory fitted.

Many times the wiring for the PTC heater system is present which makes it easy to retrofit the system.
