Hi all, quick piece of advice required please :-)

My mk6 1.25 is needing a new exhaust, I have found a second hand one for sale that has only had a couple of weeks use, but it's off a 1.6 zetec s. Does anyone know if this will bolt straight onto my car with no adverse affects? Like lambda sensor or cat damage or engine management lights etc?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I doubt they would be the same bore. I'd be very suprised if they are the same.

I can confirm that its a no, the zetec s exhausts have an extra silencer and no flexi pipe where as zetec and under spec just have the flexi pipe and the one back box silencer i found anyway

The guy who is selling it bought it for his zetec s and has confirmed as you said it does have an extra silencer(which shouldn't be a problem, but he also confirmed it does have a flexi pipe

Oooo right, i know i tried fitting one on my mk7 and the extra rear silencer doesnt fit in the holder as the panels under the car werent deep enough for it to sit in and it didnt reach the exhaust mounts

Haha yh the place i linked them to must of had a field day lol, i told my nan to get one as she was complaining so i bought one and done it for her but got a super good Sunday roast out of it haha was good payment :D and yh a couple of m8s were jel i had it and their !Removed! limited edition corsas didnt haha

Don't know if the link will work, a dimming mirror is a liquid crystal rear view mirror that detects light, so if a numpty behind you has misaligned headlights that dazzle you or full beams on the mirror will react and dim down(like a dark tint) so yours nod dazzled through the mirror.
