Usb Stick File Types

Featured Replies

Hi all, just transferring a load of tracks onto a new 16gb stick ready for my new car.

Is it strictly only mp3 files that work or will mp4 work as well?

Thanks

Think its only mp3

OK thanks Tom. Typically my tracks appear to be a mixture of both

make sure your usb stick is formatted with fat32 otherwise it won't work :)

Yeah first thing I did

Mine plays m4a as well as mp3.

What's fat32? I have to upload files to my phone using windows media, using iTunes formats or Kies the car just doesn't recognise them. Spent hours trying changing the formats just to use usb.
