Changing Interior Plastic Colour

Evening :).

I was thinking of buying a can of plasti dip and spraying all the silver plastic next to the handbrake and Stereo fascia to gloss red to match the rest of my red theme that I currently have. Has any body made any other colour changes to their interior?

Does anyone have any recommendations for what to do this in?

I was thinking about a nice black gloss finish, but can't help think it will look awful within a few months

I hate the silver interior, thought about buying carbon wrap, but having seen some people's that look like my 4 year old daughter did it, I have decided against it

Looking sweet :)))). There's a place that hydrodips in Elgin will need to go see him :). How easy is it to remove the rest of the console like the garage door and silver part that runs past the gear stick and handbrake?

2 screws when u lift up arm rest, 1 in cup holder, pull gaitor up and unscrew gear stick and the lot lifts up (around handbrake) 2 screws take out ash tray and 2 screws for heater switches.. real easy job mate!

And the steering wheel trim! ;)

That looks smart. I'm going to attempt to do it myself this weekend....and if it turns out crappy I'll pay someone to do it professionally

Couple of imperfections, and I'm sure I'll end up redoing it as I have enough to do it all again

Carbon fibre? Looks so much better than the silver!

Not bad going for 35 quid mate!

Yeah went for a really fine carbon fibre.

Sprayed it dark metallic grey and then dipped it.

Not bad for a DIY job
