    have already tried swapping the immobiliser ring with no luck😬! what would the next step be to sort it out properly? I read that the ecu can be swapped with the corresponding key used? or can an auto tech sort this out?

    You could but u have change ignition barrel to suit key a lot more hassle buyin ecu an barrel den fitting them be easier bite bullet an buy new key an try get both them programmed together cause there is a chance ur key is broke an wont program so new key best way go
