Just recently seen on Pumaspeed, they are now offering iridium spark plugs for the 1.0L Ecoboost. Now my question is: Is there any reason to change my spark plugs to these? What are the benefits?

    I changed mine to these during a service, but in all honestly they say you get a cleaner spark and more efficient spark, ive had them in for 18months and they were checked on the last service and still as shiny as they went in like so they arnt getting crap built up on them so its like a rewashable air filter cheaper in the longer run but you have to wait for the results, as per performance i found a tiny tiny tiny improvement in throttle response but then that could be me thinking it too much

    Same story as your brake lines. If they need changing anyway you could stick a set in. If not your throwing a set of spark plugs in the bin for minor (very minor!) Benefits.
