Hi, I have the New Shape Fiesta with the ordinary Bulb type DRL's fitted. in the Handbook it says Headlamps have to be removed to replace bulbs but unless I've got it completely wrong I can access the bulbs easily through the rubbers that just push on, covering the hole that gives access to the bulbs.This is my first Ford and all the other threads are saying that the Headlamp must be removed.

So have I got it wrong or have Ford made it possible on the New Shape car to change the bulbs in situ.

AFAIR one of them (the right one in the danish models) can be changed without removing the headlamp - the other one requires the headlamp to be loosened, as there's something (forgot what) in the way.

If you're changing bulbs I'd like to recommend Osram Nightbreaker unlimited - got those in mine and they are much brighter than the stock ones was.

no m8 you can access the dipped beam bulb without removing but you need to take them out to get to the others, drl main and indicators are located in a seperate part under neath the light so yes you do m8 takes 20mins

Yes done it with mine. Bit more fiddly than headlamp removal. Fingers need at least two more joints!

D13 you seem to know your stuff do you have any idea which colour wires go to which bulbs etc.I'm thinking of doing away with the

ordinary bulb DRL's in the Headlamp and putting bolt on DRL's on the front.I would then instead of having the H15 55W/15W Main Beam/DRL bulb I would just have a standalone 55W main bulb.Hence the reason why I need to know which wires go where.I've

been looking to find Wiring Diagrams for this new shape model but so far I've drawn a blank.Any thoughts and ideas welcome.
