Fiesta Titanium Dab Aerial?

Featured Replies

Hi

I've just been reading about the DAB Radio aerial and if the unit is factory fitted, it is apparently a slightly different roof aerial than the one that is normally fitted to the 'non DAB' radio, is this correct?

I've just compared the roof aerial on my late 2013 Fiesta Titanium with DAB to the aerial on my previous 2010 Zetec non DAB radio and it looks just the same, is there supposed to be any noticeable differences?

On the focus at least there is a very small "DAB" stamped on to the tip of the DAB aerials.

I believe the biggest difference is probably the loom as two connectors are supplied at the HU end.

I have replaced the whip aerial on my 2014 Zs with a £5 short one about 12cm long and the DAB still receives the same to me.
