Mk1 Central Locking. How It Works?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I am trying to make a home-made SMS car starter with keyless entry and push-to-start based on an Arduino. Everything is working perfectly, except the keyless entry. More exactly, i've found the LOCK wire, from the comfort module, and, according to the schematic, the UNLOCK also. The LOCK wire, works as expected, a short ground impulse on it and it closes the doors. The UNLOCK wire, on the other hand, is permanently connected to the ground. It doesn't work the same way.

Do anyone here has some experience with the OEM central locking? How do I open the doors?

I have the schematic here, maybe you'll figure something that I didn't.

Thanks,

Mihai
