nah its not difficult mate, if you can peel a banna you can splice a cable, process is much the same,

Peeling back the insulation and wrapping together then taping it up,

Ill do a list first, then we can talk about specifics

Ill teach you how :)

Ok lets start with the things you've mentioned that you know you want to do:

Painting calipers behind wheels

Very easy with the correct kit, I've used halfrauds caliper paint and its like water, no good at all took four coats to work,

The stuff you need is foliatec caliper paint kit, buy that along with a pyrex measuring jug a stick to mix it, sheet of card board to slide under the car and a roll of masking tape,

The foliatec kit is enamel finish paint and comes in two tins, you need to measure it in to a glass measuring jug, not plastic.

Mix enough to do two calipers at a time because it drys pretty quick and goes hard,

Prior to mixing, jack up the car remove the wheel. Clean the caliper with brake cleaner and mask up any rubber nipples, get everything ready prior to mixing paint because the clock starts once you open the tin's and mix,

Wind deflectors

Well Clim-Aer deflectors are the brand ford supply, but you may like the style of the Team-Hecko wind deflectors they have a more stream line design to them,

Light brows

I personally had a bad experience with these, i bought a set from CSR Automotive said they were TüV approved and everything,

But they wouldn't let the bonnet close, so i had some brows painted directly on to the headlight lens instead, much cheaper too.

Debadged

Its easy to completely debadge the rear including the rear ford badge itself, to remove the zetec badge etc. Just use some petrol and an old sock or cloth.

Ford badge much the same but may require body shop to smooth over the indentation of the oval,

However the front badge is required due to the awful design of the bonnet lock system,

Induction Filter

I highly recommend a Green Cotton Performance induction filter,

See my guide here for a 10% Discount code aswell as images of the professional build quality, dont worry if my filter looks different to yours, each green cotton filter i_ model specific and will be supplied as a straight swap to your existing filter in the housing,

Here's the guide:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/36783-green-cotton-performance-induction-filter-fitting-guide/

That's covered everything you've mentioned, now for some ideas i have to offer in the next post

One mod i find pleasent is Detango the indicators,

Removes the "fried egg" appearance from your clear lensed indicator units,

These bulbs called Silvatec are 100% road legal they have a mirror tint coating on the bulbs so the blend in but shine amber when in operation.

Your tail lights are offset pin BA15s

And your side repeaters are T10

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221219188949?nav=SEARCH

Another mod as you have saw is my guide on front&rear footwell lighting with optional ignition ring illumination

See the guide and shopping list here:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/34704-guide-fitting-footwell-lighting-to-your-ford/?fromsearch=1

While your in that area of wiring, another great mod is cup holder illumination see the guide from my very good friend Paul

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/28100-guide-to-fitting-smd-leds-to-cup-holder/page-2

Another modification thats great value for money is the ford logo projector puddle lights, however this mod does cost alot of time its a great bank holiday weekend consumer, ideal for that weekend the mother-in-law comes to stay

Here's the guide and shopping list:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/46244-guide-fitting-ford-projector-puddle-lights-mk2-mk25-focus-05-12-front-doors/

Colour coding engine cover, fuse box lid, battery box lid etc.

Is another tidy modification cleans everything up nice:

Bonnet dampers are another nice mod if going to car shows to flaunt your clean engine bay see guide:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/38121-guide-fitting-bonnet-damper-strut-kit-focus-mk2-mk25/

12v boot socket is very easily done to, power is already there for either an amp or 12v socket,

See guide:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/29774-guide-additional-12v-power-socket-in-boot-focus-mk25/

While you in the boot compartnent you may like to fit an additional boot light, see guide here:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/27165-guide-to-fitting-additional-boot-light-in-ford-focus-mk2-and-mk25/?pid=146083#entry146083

Mist type windscreen washer jets are a nice straight swap upgrade too:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/27149-guide-to-fitting-mist-type-jets-on-your-ford/?gopid=145927#entry145923

Clear rear fog light unit

See Guide:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/26900-rear-fog-light-conversion-guide-focus-2008-2010/

Moving on from that is additional reverse light is possible too,

See Guide:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/29347-guide-fitting-second-reverse-light-ford-focus-mk2-mk25/#entry158997

Then fit some Cree Q5 6000kelvin reverse bulbs for 110watts of illumination

See guide: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/25945-the-ultimate-reverse-bulb-6000kelvin-55watt-equivalent/?pid=138821#entry138821

Rear window tint is also a nice touch 35% rear and rear side, then 10% on the front doors,

With the windows tinted and mods fitted you way require some rear seat protection see guide:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/25532-the-ultamate-rear-seat-cover/?pid=136578#entry136578

Regarding bulbs then Osram Cool blue intense are a great upgrade for both fog light and low beam,

I recommend Osram nightbreaker plus for the high beam then.

Mud flaps may not be seen as a modification but they do make the car look lower to the ground when fitted, and protect the body,

You can also upgrade the glove box light to an SMD pad that sits inside the glove box instead of shining through a hole:

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/390727893083?nav=SEARCH

Custom laser cut dash parts aswell see guide:

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/26813-custom-laser-cut-parts-for-your-focus/?pid=145032#entry145032

Body kit stuff gets pricey then mate, but if i was to recommend only one part 8t would be the ST spoiler,

It really finishes off the flow of the focus from side and rear angles.

That's all i can think of now that's under 100 pounds mate,

Thanks very much for your help and time!i will certainly be doing some of these over the next couple weeks!

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/370664080717?cmd=VIDESC

Also what do the heated jet washer do?

Im really looking forward to the footwell lighting but i think im going struggle to wire them up!

your always better to keep the standard air box fitted and change the factory filter mate, cones outside of the box only suck in heat and never really work correctly,

Which reminds me of a video ill link you to now in a minute lol ever saw or heard of mightycarmods?

Those guys are epic, hours upon hours of there shows on youtube im addicted and ive saw em all been following the guys online past 2-3 years great laugh.

Ill tell ya what,

If you want, ill add up the cost of front&rear footwell lighting aswell as the ignition ring, ill get it sent to my house and build it for you using my focus for measurement, then box it and post it to you via tracked mail,

All you then need to do is plug it in to your interior light loom no cutting or splicing,

Ill add up the cost and let you know how much, then you can decide,

And the heated jets are part of the heated windscreen feature,

Idea being they heat the water as it passes through to aid clearing of frost, but thats all usless when the pipes between resivour and jets are frozen solid

The mod is changing them from a stream line jet to a mist type, the mist gives better coverage on the windscreen meaning you use less fluid to clean the windscreen and the solution comes out foamy which also aids cleaning.

Just if you have heated already then you should replace with heated but if standard then replace with standard.

Thanks very much for your help and time!i will certainly be doing some of these over the next couple weeks!

Im really looking forward to the footwell lighting but i think im going struggle to wire them up!

ive done a quick search for the parts on ebay to get all parts shipped directly to me from the UK its costing 48.03GBP

Thats for:

2 x Led pods (rear footwell illumination)

2 x T10 sockets (front footwell bulb holders)

2 x lengths of 2M cable

1 x Illuminated Ignition ring

Total: 46.03 GBP including shipping to Ireland, however you may get all of the above cheaper if you had them shipped to your address first because some companys offer free shipping within the UK,

You could then compile all parts in to one box and ship it over to me for assembily if required,

My fee is 10.00 GBP to assemble the Plug&Play kit

Return Postage will be an additional fee which you can arrange yourself on Parcel2go.com

Just thought id offer.

no prob happy to help, probably best you compile the parts in to a box and send it over via tracked mail, and my fee of 10.00GBP via PayPal ill piece it together when it arrives and return it to you within 1 week all you gotta do is fit the cable behind the panels and plug it in,

If i was to do it all again i wouldn't have fitted as much extra weight such as the body kit and 18x8 rims suppose ill never be happy lol I'm also left now with nothing to do because its was quite a hobby for three years cost be at least 10,200GBP on modifications alone thats parts labour and shipping of everything but not including all my hours spent,

It was fun though and well documented to help others so its all good,

Look forward to your updates mate, and no pressure on time to do anything, projects can quite easily get out of hand
