Nice zetec S, looks like sea grey metallic colour the pictures.

Colour coded bonnet lip would have looked nicer ^_^, gives it a nice clean look at the front, but your preference.

Are you planning to wrap the rest of your radio and a/c control surround?

Maybe get your grilles sprayed gloss black

liking the sound of the plans

what colour are you doing the rear diffuser and alloys in?

look forward to seeing pics when done

looking good mate,

If you have some hammerite smooth finish silver, its worth painting the spacer section of the disc aswell,

Might have to do that cause sometimes it's a b**ch to remove the wheels after not being off for a long time

for that problem you need to apply some copper grease to the face of the hub and the bolts mate,

See the brown on the face of my hub in the picture,

Thats not rust, its copper grease,

Pick up a tube at your local Halfords or stop off at local tyre plaxe they can jack up your car and do all 4 wheels for very little money,

Prevents the wheel bonding to the hub, ford are notorious for not applying copper grease to wheels

Yeah don't worry I've put copper grease on the hub and bolts, I work in a car garage so I've got plenty of it for all wheels aha just thinking hammerite will just give it a nice clean surface and will stop any rust in the future then apply grease over top

ah rite didnt know you had applied it already or your occupation mate,

Hammerite lasts pretty well too, done mine four years ago and still on there, should exceed the life of the discs,

When i change discs in going to coat the rim of the new ones stop them flaking at the top aswell.

  • Author

No worries mate, it's a good idea! Hopefully help prolong the life of the disk and keep that nasty rust away
