My edge at the docks in USA ? What's rough delivery time ordered mine June fully loaded edge sport

I ordered mine on the 1st April and got it on the 12th August.

I was lucky enough to walk into the showroom and buy the one on display. Titanium, lots of options I wanted including black colour and auto transmission. Got the 210 bhp engine. 

I'm really enjoying this car coming from a BMW 650

Spotted another Edge, my first sighting of another Edge since buying mine in July. A gold coloured Sport model in Cardiff (Starbucks car park)

 

Not so good. mine has been back to Ford's twice  =  (

oh dear do you mind me asking why its gone back twice? 

supprised if it hadnt gone back on a recovery truck . there not the most reliable at the moment.

Loose exterior door trim and a leaking pan roof. 

To be fair, the Ford people were excellent in sorting it out. Had the use of an Edge Sport as a courtesy car and was compensated for the inconvenience. Also my car was returned valeted and with a full tank of diesel.

You may have misread my post there Jatt. 

My pan roof was 'leaking' 😳

Ford had my car for 10 days, couldn't find any leak. 

Im expecting further problems now water has got into the electrics of the roof and centre consoles. 

Another issue is the power tailgate  

Twice it has come down on me while leaning into the boot space. There is a safety mechanism that stops the tailgate closing. Obviously not working on mine! 

I miss my BMW . . . 

 

at least it hasnt broke down yet, quite a few have, wiring issues under bonnet amongst other issues

Not good, I p/x my aging BMW for something reliable 🙁

the first 3 edges i saw all broke down within 250 miles or less , not saying its a major problem but its worrying with a modern vehicle theres a quality control issue . hopefully they allready sorted it out quickly at the factory. 

Collected mine Friday but goes back Tuesday as the drivers electric seat don't work ! Good job it was in a drivable position when I collected it!
