Fitting Rear Drop Links

Featured Replies

Fitted rear drop links other day.

But i think at least on of them is making a big thump/ snap sound when straightening/ level after a sharpish turn.

Any particular way these are to be fitted or what?

They dont seem the most secure things in the world for movement at the middle part sits at a angle sort of at each end as it moves.

I have the bolts a tight as i dare and looks the same as what i removed.

What is your model?Check the anti roll bar is tight to the crossmember.

Check the mounting bolts you mean?

Yes.Also check the bushes that butt up against the crossmember. The drop links should not be fixed over tight.
