    Best place is to use compare the market, money supermarket and go compare etc. Then see which are cheapest, write them down and could even try direct for a cheaper one.

    It's a minefield so all down to the individual to be honest

    And try adding your parents to the policy because that can reduce the quote. Also compare prices of comprehensive vs 3rd party (comprehensive isn't always more expensive), adding business cover can reduce the quote too.

    Apart from that just try and be as truthful as possible about your mileage, where the car is parked etc, and check that the policy has any features you want such as courtesy car and windscreen cover.
