Locking Wheel Nut Key - Help Please

Featured Replies

You will need an airgun for that tool from Halfrauds. The garage that did mine tried to use one of them and it wouldnt grip. I reckon it was half a mm too small

Yes I can confirm that! What a nightmare. I've stuck it back in the box to take it back for a refund. I've just rang my local auto salvage who have said they have a selection of ford keys (there are about 15 combinations). They say I can borrow one of theirs to get mine off - I don't mind bugging them a few quid for the privilege.

If it helps a 19mm or 3/4 "bi-hex" socket will hammer over the locking wheel nut and you can remove if truly desperate.

BE WARNED though it will ruin the socket if you can separate from the locking nut.

Not a solution to all four but a little info for someone who's in a pinch.
