Hi I locked the car about 20mins ago but the radio is lit up, its turned off showing the date and time but won't sem to go off?

and suggestions?

also can anyone comfirm the I light in the centre of the dash flashing when the car is locked is that for the alarm?

its showing no messages when i go into the dash.

Some of the Ford radios can be put on a timer to run without ignition on, mine does as I use it like this when im washing it or cleaning it out or doing odd jobs.

Your Mondy is a lot newer than mine but I do have a red light that flashes on my dash its in my clock, its for the alarm.

Is the car actually locked?

What model radio have you got?

Hi, I’m having this exact problem currently and it’s drained the battery twice, did you manage to find the problem/ solution??

Me three... 

My friend is having the same problem and we have changed the radio for a after market unit. Are the radios in the mondeo’s controlled by a module that might be faulty, I’m thinking about rewiring the radio with a ignition feed from the ignition barrel. 
there must be a reason for this. Anyone have a solution? Is there a wiring diagram available?
