Heard about a few st's being stolen. Just wondered if there seemed to be a pattern in what colours were going?

Keyless start is the same as keyless entry with push button start stated above your comment ;) ha ha

But yeh it is definately just any colour with keyless entry. There's multiple threads covering it and a few options to attemp to prevent them smashing your small drivers window and using the obd port to unlock the car and start the car.

I know there's keyless start and keyless entry, but there's also keyless start that requires the key still to enter the car (like the st2) . But once in the car it's the same outcome aha. I knew what I meant .

That's good about the colour. I've read all the tips and tricks and believe me I shall be using them all aha. Just need a trunk monkey now

As these thieves need the OBD2 connection, if you really want to stop them.

Buy male and female 30 pin ATX PC connectors from Maplins , then number and cut your OBD2 wires about 3 inches away from OBD2 end, resolder in your chosen order , on the female and then match that order to the OBD2 side.

Remove the OBD2 from the car or hide it somewhere in the car., They will not then be able to plug an interface in to re-jig and start the car.

Simples :)

If you've physically changed the wiring will that not mean youll have to produce a wiring adapter for any garages etc so they can plug in?

Would just have to reconnect the obd port to the adaptor before taking it into the garage
