Badge Replacement

Featured Replies

Thank you to someone on here who said about Ford replacing badges for free, found out that if the car is less than 10 years old and done less than 100K miles and the badges have corroded or been damaged then they will replace them for free.

Also got a complimentary clean and health check :D

You're welcome :)

I personally wouldn't let them wash my car as I'd rather not add to the swirl marks! Contactless washing ftw ;) ahaha

Badges look great! I paid £15 for a rear on my last mk6 then wrote it off and destroyed the badge :(

Haha, it was a bit dirty so thought might as well but gonna do it properly some time soon

That sucks :(, wish I took a picture of the badges before hand, just gotta replace the TDCI badge now as that's corroded, but will cost me £7.50 from eBay :)

When changing the TDCI badge, put masking tape at the bottom touching it and at both ends. That way it'll 1.) Protect the paint when you remove it & 2.)you'll be able to get it in exactly the right place

Okay then thank you for the advice :D, was thinking the other day about maybe getting my alloys resprayed black and the grill plastics and that as well

Glad you could get it done, I got the rear ford badge done and all it took was a very angry call from Ford Care to the stealers to sort it.

Did you have to book it in or did you just turn up?

I had to ring up and get it booked in, got there at 8am and was told it would take about an hour, I left at about 10:15am haha
