Haven't used my focus in about 6 months it has a couple of problems but when I turn the key nothing happens no attempt to start but all lights and radio all come on, I jumped it the other day and took it for a spin but tried to start her today and nothing again could it simply be a battery or worse? Also when I lifted the bonnet I noticed a buzzing noise

    If the car has sat for 6 months and the battery hasn't been charged then it's likely that its now duff. Lead acid batteries don't like to sit for long periods without a top up charge to keep the plates from getting sulfated.

    Ok I will go down halfords when I get the chance and try a new battery I'm not sure exactly what battery I have I know it says calcium on it or something lol
