Misty Reverse Camera

Featured Replies

As in title,my reverse camera is a bit misty.

Washed the car the other day and a very slight mist on the top part when you look at the picture.

Camera is new from ford 4 months ago as was done under cover so free.

Its the genuine one as on from new and in mirror, works fine with all lines etc.

Don't spray water direct on it and try not to wash it but it does and will get wet.

Any advice would be great as still under cover until october 20th.

It's like damp but it's a sealed lense in a plastic cover.

Might be worth asking in the focus section if you haven't already, the RS used to have this a lot.

Cheers mark,i try that.

It's probably condensation - they are susceptible.

Put a topic on the focus page and it is condensation they said.

I have put a hair dryer to it for about 5 mins and left it for an hour then had a look

and seems to solve most of it if not all, looking at putting some cover over it when i wash it.
