Servicing Ford Ka 2006

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'll be going for a Service soon to replace filters, spark plugs, fluids etc.

Is there anything particular in the Ford Ka that I would need changed as well?

The car has done 98k miles since 2006 :)

Thanks!

P.S. How much do those cars usually make on the clock before scrap yard?

I have heard of them going up to 200k, problem is they tend to dissolve long before then.

Nice, I plan to use this little beast for around 2 / 3 years :)

I'm trying to get rid of the rust spots - especially around the bonnet area, fuel cap and boot.

One of the bolts in the boot has completely rusted already, literally all the way through. This will require some work.

And finally, is there anything in this car except the ordinary service parts which I need to tell my mechanic about?

Have it check on the sills and around the lower doors and have the pollen filter changed. As for how long they go on for is downt to the person that looks after it.
