Car Won't Start

Featured Replies

Focus 1.6 TDCI 2008 won't start when engine is hot.It starts in one go when engine is cold ,I have to leave car for atleast 2 hours then it will start.New filter and new crank shaft sensor still the same.Could it be fuel injection pump?

What about the camshaft sensor? Have you had the codes read?

No codes when diagnosed ...should I replace cam sensor

If there are no codes you might be throwing good money after bad but I don't know what else to suggest. It just seems possible that a sensor is something that might be affected by engine temperature but it ought to throw up some codes. Our 1.8TDCi did when its camshaft sensor failed.
