Removing Steering Wheel/airbag Mk2

Hi,

I would like to know what is required to remove the airbag from the steering wheel on the mk2 ka?

I need to fit a new indicator stalk. Help would be much appreciated.

    If it's anything like the mk1 focus, from what I can remember its a 5.5mm socket for the airbag and a 24mm socket for the steering wheel.

    I will have another look tonight. I can't see any screws on the back of the steering wheel so I'm not sure how else it would come off.

    I wonder if the fiat 500 would be similar?

    Theres a special angled tool that slides in behind steering wheel to unclip the air bag in 3 fixing points
