Dtc Code 9202 Fuel Sender Open Circuit What Does This Mean?

Featured Replies

Hi my Ford Focus 1.8 tdci 2010 fuel gauge does not work fuel light stays on, I have googled the Dtc code #009202 open fuel sender unit circuit but I don't know what that actually means and I can't find any answers on the net

Possibly a fuse at worst the fuel sender needs replaced hard to tell with a generic code

Ok mayb on the weekend I'll look online to find which fuse is the fuel sender unit if it ain't the fuse I will know it's the fuel sender unit

Is that the best way to see what the fault is?

Open circuit means there is high or infinite resistance on the fuel sender circuit. So it is most likely to need a new fuel sender unit.
