2012 Focus Titanium Alarm Randomly Going Off

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a 2012 focus titanium and for the past 3 days my alarm has been going off randomly.

I have checked all the doors, windows, boot and bonnet and they are all closed.

I have turned the interior alarm sensor off too and the alarm still goes off.

Can anyone give any advise as to why my alarm is going off.

Many thanks

Paul

probably the bonnet catch switch, unplug the connector and bridge the 2 pins together and reset alarm.. alternativly get ford dealer to read the alarm stack, the bcm stores the last 4 alarm triggers , so that will pinpoint in seconds where the issue is..

then when you know where the issue is, then fix it your self if your handy with few tools.

I'll second the above most likely the bonnet catch - its a common issue
