Should be the same set up as my Cmax was and my mate managed to unbolt the lock mechanism by reaching up under the car with a small ratchet.

cost be about 80quid to get it fixed by ford, they replaced the lock cylinder. so expect that much as the maximum if its not covered by warranty.

Worst case is your key is worn and that has damaged your lock.

New grill

New lock assembly

New key.

Best case is worn key.

New blade

Good luck

Garage going to do whatever needed on Wednesday to open then repair all under warranty so not to bad in the end hopefully

under warranty - you lucky sod!

New blade is cheaper than dis-assembling and re-assembling the unit.

Unless you fix it yourself free of charge!:)

thanks for help everyone

quick question just something ive been wondering if a spring or shock was to need replaced on a zetec s is it same parts as

other focus models

cheers john

The ride height is a bit lower on the Zetec S as far as im aware so would suggest the springs to be different spec. Someone else will be able to give a definitive answer on that for you.
