Having google it, I'm just confused now. When I have 5 people in the car I should increase the pressure as per the guide.

Question being is that, is that pressure with the tyres cold and the car empty or the car full?

I.e. is that the max pressure?

    Tyre pressure values are always quoted at a cold state.

    If I ever have to do a tyre top up on warm tyres I add 2psi to allow for expansion if filled with regular air (1psi if tyres are filled with nitrogen alone).

    Filling tyres whether the car is loaded or not makes no difference as it's the pressure you're reading not weight distribution.
