Can anyone recommend LED side lights that will work with the higher voltages of the Mk2.5 2.0 TDCi (2010) and survive? I've tried cree and they die, I've tried some from ebay and the metal heat sink has now turned a copper like colour. That doesn't strike me as an overly good thing.

Is there anything out there that can handle the 14- 15 volts, has a 501 connection and doesn't shoot laser beam levels of light out?
