Took the car for an mot and it went straight through just 2 advices say front indicators not bright enough. Strange as they seem perfectly fine to me.

Mine passed two days ago, only problem was garage sheared a bolt off removing rear wheel to bleed brakes for service!

On my old car I used to get advisories that strangely vanished, or perhaps fixed themselves the following year! Makes it look like they are doing a job I guess. I used to get damaged CV joint gaiter (but not leaking) on my Renault about every third year, I never replaced it and had car for eight years.

I had a transit with oval brake drums one year but they fixed themselves

Yeah mine said about front direction indicators has light sources not illuminating but not more than 50%. When I look at them they look perfectly fine to me.

nice one ignore the indicator thing i get that all the time when i queried it he said the white of the bulb was showing i then pointed out they are silver and light up orange lol

They always write up a load of bulls##t to entice lesser mortals to pony up for unnecessary work.
