Will Ashtray Fit

Featured Replies

Hi

My focus doesn't have an ashtray, it is open with the cig lighter at the back. Would an ashtray fit as I would like to block that little section off.

Cheers :)

Hi Mark,

Yes there is a "garage door" type ash tray which fits under the button panel in the centre console,

Or

Facelift models 2008-2011 came with a removable cup holder ash tray instead.

Both items will fit Focus 2005-2011

Hi

Thanks for the reply, yes it was the garage door type I was hoping to fit as at the moment there is just the lighter and an open space.

Cheers

No prob,

Fellow member and moderator "Stoney871" (Clive) once had a Mk2 focus and retro fitted the garage door ash tray,

If you get stuck during the process give him a message as he can advise from experience.

Tis pretty straight forward enough though.

Heres a link to clive's fitting Guide: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/article/152-fitting-ashtray-housing-into-mk2-focus/

Cheers fella.

It's fiddly to access the guides and post links on a mobile :d

+1

Ive gotten used to it lol my laptop packed up two years ago,

Ive been using an Android based Alcatel mobile phone ever since then only cost me 40euro,

I've created forum guides and everything on here with it from me since 2013 by writing it all in a draft email to easily piece things together prior to copy&pasting in to a post on the forum.
